which heads for boost
I have a forged 390 from AES with 317 heads i'm going to upgrade the heads asap and wanna know which heads will be best for 1000rwhp
my cr with 317's is 9.5-1 with ls9 head gaskets
cam is 23x-23x .int .6xx exh. .5xx 114+4
car is a street/strip car so would like it strong on both.
thanks for any help i can get with this.
budget would be under $3.5 - $4k for heads/rockers

TSP & PRC FTW
237's
or 247's
they have the thick deck
and run a little less than the AFR.
AFR's are nice too. I am not sure if there is an advantage to either brand. I just know I personally wanted to try them out to compare them to TFS, AND AFR
I do not know alot about the manufacturing of cylinder heads, but seems like now a days the machines are all so nice and advanced that they pretty much all do the same thing. And we all know TSP has some nice *** machining products and great turn around time.

you guys think the 245 would be too big for my 390?
235's are for minimum 4.030 bore
These fully CNC ported 245cc heads are specifically designed for the large cubic inch strokers with 4.155" and larger bores.
