Default boost questions

ok ive got a project currently on hold.
its a 5.3 swap into a 82 chevy short wide 2wd.
5.3 with 4l60e pcm harness i scored all for 800$

so ive been thinkin of a way to get some decent street power.
im not going to run the drag strip or anything jsut want a street toy.
with the benifit of getting about 20mpg

so ive been reading here in the boost section and i seen an article.
in hotrod mag or something about boosting a junkyard 5.3l.
with some of the ebay turbos like the on3 i know they are made in china.

one my my questions is whould this be an ideal turbo just to use.
to play around on the street with not going to be much abuse.
just for a fun joyride and picking on mustangs.

now with the score i bought i landed set of 317 heads on a 6.0 cracked block.
the 5.3l i got has 862 heads on it

so im wonderlong also if should get like a ls6 cam or maybe something better or stay stock cam.

what type of manifolds could be used to make the set up for the turbo?

im thinkin a nelson tune an a turbo maybe a cam ? would this be a fun toy?
what kind of prices am i lookin at ?

what kind of hp numbers am i lookin at 400hp be a nice goal if possible

you could sneeze and make 400rwhp with a th400 and with a totally stock 5.3 with 140 dollar pac 1218 valvesprings and a 300 dollar gt45 turbo, if all you wanna do is burnouts with 400 whp.

put in the longest ******* gears you can get in the rear of your car and highway cruising itll do close to 20mpg too.

i see you are doing a 60e, and that will handle lock up and decent mileage, but they dont like power unless you sink money into them.

sell the 317 heads to someone for money and just use the totally stock 5.3 cam, intake, heads, etc.

well not just burnouts but to play with on the street light to light action but shh hehe..

so a stock 60e might not like the power from a turbo for to long?
