30....wow.

14 years I've run 40 F & R. In the winter 42 F & R. That has always gotten me 17,000+ miles from my tires and perfectly even wear.

When I worked at Dodge, on every 44 psi max tire we threw on 36 psi to give it atleast 8 psi of wiggle room. On the ss i run on 36. Its going to depend on who you ask and answers are going to vary but i say anywhere from 30-38 psi is safe on a 44psi rated tire.

I've been doing 32 front/30 rear on my 4th gens for the last 14 years, and had excellent tread wear as well. The current set of Z-rated BFGs on my '02 has 25k miles now and still has not hit the wear bars, I could probably get 5-10k more miles out of them.

Drag radials I have run as low as 16psi and as high as 24-25.

I don't AutoX.

Glad this thread came up because I was wondering what you all would recommend running on a Z rated 275 size tire? I checked my tires and they are all sitting at 26-27 psi, don't know if I can get by with this, I use the car as a daily driver.

On a hot day 27 (air fulled) will raise to 31- 32 while cruising.

I usually run 31-32 ft, 30 rear on GSD3s, cold. Due to sidewall construction and roads, probably the max I will run, ride can get quite choppy. Lately I've dropped to 30/29 front-rear for ride quality purposes.

32/30 here. Ran bfg kd tires for 6 years and 50k miles and came within 1/32 of wear bars before replacing. 200+ drag launches.

this is what I do. I tried running 35psi on the fronts with my 1st set of tires and this wore a bald stripe in the middle of them. 32 up front works well.

When I was daily driving my hawk, I was running 38 on all 4 and wore the center bald before I caught it. Now I'm 32 front 30-32 rear. No autocross or drag strip.

17x9 front and 18x10 rear setup:
DD= 33 psi front 30 psi rear; got 30K+ miles out of my tires before I switched and the switch was because I wanted new rims, tires hadn't gotten to the wear bars yet. Pattern wear on the front was even save for the outside edges, rear was good with slightly more in the middle.

I don't autocross but I would think 40-44 in front and high 30s in the rear would work. I guess it would depend on how much tire roll you're getting.

drag = I've never really raced this car. My `99 SS, with 17s front and rear, I finally settled on 33 front 30 rear for the street tires. Was able to get 1.9 60s consistantly with this and running Kumho tires.

35-38 front - fusion zri 275/40

25-27 rear - nitto 555r's 315/35

i read a thread where a guy said he ran 30-32psi in his 555r's and the centers wore out first.....i'm glad i read it because i was going to run 30.....running 25psi they've worn evenly for me so far.
