thinking about selling my baby 2002 z28 vert 40k miles with sport appearance package
I have been pondering about selling my Z28 convert, 2002 with sport app package, All stock and orginal with 39k miles, pewter with grey leather 2nd owner, fully loaded with Auto trans,
Hows the market on low miles cars? Can anybody give me some pointers on what might be a good price to start at? Thanks for the info guys!

Your car looks really nice in the photo. Low mileage stock convertibles with one or two owners are always in demand. The only negative right now is the timing as convertible season is winding down and the holiday season is getting very close (notorious for slow car sales).
During the Spring and early Summer months your 2002 Z28 'vert would sell in the $14,000 area. Asking in the high 14's allows some negotiation room without scaring anyone away with too high a price. A few dealer cars on www.autotrader.com have prices around $15,000 (similar mileage, same year, convertibles, etc...) so you have to be lower than them. Right now it depends on how fast you want to sell it. I would still ask the same but if in a hurry you may have to take somehere in the $13,000 - $13,500 area. Lower than that would be silly as trade-in value is in the $12,000+ range if buying an expensive car to replace it.
These prices are for a good condition car with no issues or needs, with a clean title and good Carfax.
** I just wanted to add it may depend where you live too. If in FL or CA or a warm climate state it is always convertible season and the pricing may not be affected too bad, except for the holiday season.
