Do big cams=bad lifters?
I have the TSP 231/237 and my motor is slightly tapping. I'm pretty sure it's a bad lifter. Does the size of this cam have anything to do with the lifters failing? Also I have the Rev double springs. Any help would be appreciated.

depending on the sound, and it would be hard to describe, just have to hear it, but it is normal to an extent to have a little more valvetrain noise than with the stock cam. Some springs recomend new lifters due to high spring pressure, but I haven't heard of anyone having any problems with the Rev springs. Your car being an 02, I wouldnt imagie its a high milage motor yet, how many miles you have on that set-up?

I have 15,000 on the car and about 3,000 with the cam. There's defintally something wrong. It's a lot louder then just the normal LS1 sewing machine sound after a cam. I think I might finally try to take it apart this weekend. It's been in my driveway for about 2 months has it is.
