i've looked on autotrader and ebay, but how cheaply are you guys seeing 2000-2002 V6 firebirds going with perfect paint and interior?

i'm asking, because my body/interior have gone to **** in the last 5 years. i've concluded it would be more logical to just get another car and swap over the drivetrain.

my fenders and hood are both fucked. my right rocker panel is severely damaged from a jack stand falling on it. my quarter panels were repaired badly before i bought it. every piece of my dash is shrunk/cracked. door panels are ****. cluster is ******* up. windshield is cracked. seats are all worn out. carpet is worn out. i want black instead of charcoal.... blah blah blah etc etc etc.


it's obvious what i need to do.

A quick check on Craiglist (here in FL) revealed tons of "nice looking" ones in the 3K-4K range. Good luck!

if i look long enough i can probably find one with a blown engine/trans for like 2k. i wont be doing this for a couple of years, so it's possible.

A few pop up locally for $1,200-2,500 with a bad engine, head gaskets, or trans.
