Default gm hot cam questions

i have a set of 04 zo6 heads sitting in my floor. i first got them with plans to put a mild to large cam in my car. i decided to go the route od a different car to make into a toy. but i wont have the motor for said car until i get back from sand land. so i have been thinking about getting a hot cam fro my car and having the 243's milled and putting them on my car until i build my other motor. will i have to go changing around to much for this miild of a cam. the car only has 41k on her.

Thanks. walker

Here is a video of the first start GMPP "HOT" Cam that I finished putting in my bird this week. I also stuck in Manley hardened pushrods, an LS2 timing chain, ported LS6 oil pump, trunion rocker upgrade, LS6 springs, new spring seats, valve stem seals, MLS head gaskets. The car already had TSP 1-7/8 headers with 3" collector and velocity spike along with TSP true duals dumped.

Well, I picked up the cam, springs, seats, timing cover seal, spring seats, new valve locks, 2x valve cover seals from a friend who had them on his shelf for 10 years on the cheap.

I got the pushrods for $100/set from WS6store. The timing chain was $45 from TSP.

The hotcam on 110LSA will sound great and have awesome low-mid stump pulling torque. It's an almost perfect cam for a street car. Easy on the valvetrain too.

Your not going to see much w/ a hot cam and stock 243's...pretty mild setup. If its to hold you over for a motor your building do it up.

how much you mill the heads will determine the proper push rod length.

With supporting mods, the hotcam and milled 243's will get him right around 400rwhp which isn't too shabby.
