Default Couple of questions about C5 Wheels

Just bought a set of 17/18 Inch C5 Wheels, They weren't my first choice but for the price couldnt be beaten, Just wondering if i can still lower my Z28 a couple of inches, The tyre size is 245/45/17 and 275/40/18
Also shall i keep them black or go back to silver? cant decide! My Z28 Is Red with black roof

If the overall height is about 26" you will ok with lowering the car.

As for the color of the wheels from your picture they look to be in good condition
and your car is red with black in it so why waste your money to dismount, remount and powder coat to just change the color.

Thats good, Thanks, Think it will look to high without lowering, They were only $700 total, which is what the shipping would have been from US to UK if i bought wheels from there!

the height is fine on them
being that they are C5 offset
it's the backspacing that I would be more worried about

you might need to run spacers on them because C5 wheels tend
to sit in too much when run on an Fbdy.

I didn't think about the backspacing, I'll put them on now and see..

they look fine to me.

I don't see the Corvette flags on the center caps
so maybe the wheels you have are C5 Replicas with Fbdy offset

if you need different wheel bolts I have some black ones
that would match up better to your wheels.

shouldn't be too bad to ship just the bolts to England

I was looking into that yesterday, which of these sets up would be best with these wheels? can't be too low or stiff, damn speed bumps and bad London roads

look on the inside of the wheels, if they are oe wheels you will see it. if not then more than likly they are vette wheels.....the rear tire size is for a vette as most camaros use 275/35/18. stock size for the vette is 275/40/18. i personally had to use a bfh when i lowered my car and removed my bump stop. just a heads up.
