Ac went out!! Anyone know of a good ac shop around Houston????
Ac in my car went out and need to have it repaired as soon as possible but don't know of any good shops around the Houston/Pasadena area!! Do you guys know where I can get it fixed???

To be honest, you can go pretty much anywhere for ac. Idk what part of pasadena you're in, but if you ever go to the clear lake area, i have a shop i would HIGHLY recommend for general repairs.

you can rent the vacuum pump and gauges from auto zone for like 250 but get it all back when you return it. just have to buy the oil and freon (forgot the correct name its not freon anymore)

If you are not hearing compressor bearing noise try putting a can of freon in it. Get the stuff with the UV dye in it and then if/when it leaks out you can see it with a black light.
I have replaced an Ac compressor myself before with one off Ebay. Got the loaner tools from Autozone, it wasn't that hard.

^^^^ thats what i did bought a compressor off ebay for 95 refurbished. it was a pain putting it back on but deffently not the hardest. you can buy the entire ring set from autozone for 7 bucks

harbor freight sells the vacuum pump and gauges for fairly cheap. i have repaired 2 ac systems in the last few months and that thing works like a champ. saves a lot of money in the long run too.
