Default ABS Computer Question

Years back, my ABS light popped on, so i yanked the fuse and pulled the bulb, since I had plans of removing it anyway. Currently the interior is out of the car, and I was looking at the computer that is mounted about a foot below the rear speaker on the passenger side, next to the rear floorboard, behind the interior plastic. The warning sticker on it says "Control modules that appear similar may not operate the same under all conditions. To help avoid personal injury due to improper brake operation, replace this module only with part specified for this vehicle".

Since my ABS fuse is pulled, and the ABS block will be yanked in the next year or so, do I need to re-install this module, or will I be fine to leave it off the car?
