Front O2 sensors disconnected...
Aside from poor around town drivability, what are the effects of having the front o2 sensors disconnected? At WOT does the computer read off of the O2's or does it have a set program. If your asking why I would have the O2's disconnected, it's because I recently installed LT headers and the company I bought them from sent be the wrong O2 extensions.

The car cannot run closed loop without the front O2's. You will want to run front O2's for sure. The O2's are not looked at by the PCM for WOT at all, but all of part throttle closed loop operation depends on them.

Best to have a Wideband O2 setup for tuning on the street. Also will need a scanner (EFILive V6) and Editor.
If car is modded ( more than simple bolt ons) calculate a new ve table. Disconnect the O2s and disable all related DTCs.
Part throttle fueling, at operating temps, should ideally match the F/A table (Stoich) in LS1Edit. You'll probably need to tweak multiple tables to get it close/right.
WOT fueling 12.9 - 13.1 AFR on the street or a little richer on a dyno (much more efficient and safer on a dyno).
As you go through the process post questions here......that's what I've done. In fact everything can be found here -> do a search of all of NoGo's posts...all of it he has posted in the past. His posts are a tuning education in and of themselves!!
WOT - the O2 sensors are ignored by the PCM. However, if LTFTs (average of LTFTs ) are positive then this % will be added to WOT fueling - if negative they will not be subtracted. This is the reasoning behind negative fuel trims at part throttle....it makes WOT fueling (AFR) more predictable and stable. The WOT target for fueling is the PE/RPM and PE/Temp tables.
Hope this helps some.
