Default New best in 1/8 and going to 1/4 soon...how fast you think?

Well got a new best at local 1/8 track and car is as follows..02 Z28....exhaust,tune,lid,under drive crank pulley, 3.73's with stock stall and street tires with 100 dry shot..went 7.45@96.9mph with 1.87 60' time. Any idea what this run would be in the 1/4? Just looking for what to expect.

Sounds like some mid 11's with that 60ft.

Not much else to say man...basically a bolt on car with the shot. Im running on some SS wheels with 275/40/17 Riken Raptors on the back and the car is 3500# with me in it. Will be 2 weeks before i make it to the 1/4 track for the first time. Also currently shopping for some bigger injectors so can go to 150 shot...stockers are maxed.

7.45 X 1.565 = 11.65

I would spend the injector/NOS money on drag radials. Shaving 2/10 off the 60' will make the car as quick as the extra 50 HP of nitrous would with the current 60's. It is counterproductive to add power when the 60 fts are what needs attention first and foremost.

I have some M/T Dr's at home but I run in a little street tire class we do on test and tune nights. I know I could spend the same money on a good stall will really drop the times but I'm really trying to see how fast with the every day tires and think a stall will make it harder to keep it planted. If this thing will go mid 11 I'll be very pleased.

I think you can get a mid 11 out of her pretty easy man. Just get that 60' down another tick or two and you're there.
