Whats up guys I just picked up a 05 a4 gto with 45k miles this weekend and started modding it today. I got a great deal on a used in box k&N CAI fipk kit and installed it today. I cranked the car after install and it didn't want to idle. So I took it for a test drive thinking maybe the PCM needed some time to adjust. Still no difference after test drive it didn't want to idle and would stall out EVERYTIME u put it in gear. So I googled Gto K&N CAI problems and found out the maf can ground out on the metal support bracket by the scows that hold the maf on the bracket. So I removed the big square aluminum coated support bracket and zip tied the filter to hold it up. Now the the car runs like a raped ape with no problems!!!! Has anyone else had this problem?
