HVYSS running 9's last night.....
.......at Mountain Park Dragway, KY.
Frank and Geramie are now running pretty consistent 9's with that car with a few bugs still to sort out. And a fairly mild and typical LT1 setup to boot: just a 200 shot fogger on top of a solid built bottom end and a NA-oriented H/C package.
I think it's friggin awesome! One of only two B-bodies I can think of in the Midwest that are running NINES without driving over to the East Coast to run in negative DA and downhill tracks!
They backed it up with a 9.95 @ 135, but still having issues and called it a night.

I would love too but Cathys parents are coming down for T-giving. I'll be home Christmas time, I'll give you guys a shout. Congrats on a solid 9, what was the DA 2500+ lol. Bet she has a 9.7 139 in her at sea level. You, Denz and your crew should trailer her down and make a few runs at San Antonio and hang in South Padre for spring break in March. Plenty o room at me Casa. Brian

I hate to say it but no. They have cancelled this local shootout twice so We are going to stay here and run that. Gonna miss all the fun I know. And thanks for all the props guys. If we weren't having nitrous issues I believe she would have gone low 9.8's. Our 60 fts were almost a tenth off due to the kit not coming on properly. Hopefully we will get it resolved this week and will get a 9.8 out of it next weekend.
