Default Should I install lca relocation on 10bolt?

I have some lca relocation brackets that i bought for upgrading to a 9" and figured I would just upgrade to them when i put the new rear in. The thing is, i ended up holding off on the rearend upgrade and never put the lca relocation brackets on. Should I throw em on? Car is in the 500-550 rwhp range w/ nitto drag radials and tubular lcas/phb, etc.

Did you notice much difference with this mod? Is it worth installing on the 10 bolt?

I noticed a difference on my bone stock LT1 so, yes, you should throw them on. Plus, it takes like 10min per side so why not...

We have a ton of customers who run our BMR LCA relocation brackets on the factory 10 bolt rear ends. Adding the LCA relocation bracket will add positive anti-squat to the vehicle which will force the tire downward while launching which in turn lead to better launching and straight line performance. Now with that being said you are always playing with fire when using a factory 10 bolt with 500-550 rwhp so I really don't think it will make a difference as fas as life expectancy of the 10 bolt goes.

If I was in your position I would defintiely install the LCA relocation brackets.

LCA's in the lower bolt hole can prevent wheel hop situations. One of the main reasons that 10 bolts break is due to wheel or brake hop. So you are eliminating one of the main reasons why it would break.

I think it all depends on your driving application. I race my car but its on poor surfaces. Not enough shock the drivetrain enough. Mine's been holding out pretty good for 10 years of racing.
