No mods are required for this goal. All you have to do is buy any stock LS1 car and you instantly have ~350hp at the motor.

Maybe you meant 350hp at the wheels?

longtubes, lid, tune, LS6 intake, ported Tbody, and an underdrive pulley should put an A4 at about 350 wheel...

Just to clarify, if you purchase an 01 or 02 car, it will already have an Ls6 intake from the factory.

350rwhp on the motor doesn't make sense. And i'd stay away from nitrous until you know more about these cars.

I am sure he means 350rwhp N/A.

Welcome and good luck. There is a ton of info on here. Read and educate yourself so you can weed out some of the B.S info some give out on here. (This is a general statement and not directed at anyone in this thread).

A stock 01 and up ls1 with headers, tune and catback will get you passed 350 at the wheels.

i agree on the fun aspect im just sick of a 14 second car time to move on and to me an ls1 is the smartest way to do that. and the a4 is all abnout that launch

haha be carefullll... launching is fun but with a built 4l60 and stick tires the only launch youll be doing is to launch your internet to order a new rear hahaha not many stock rears have lasted through the abuse of hard launches with DR's

You might be surprised at how many A4 cars have seen the better side of 1.6 or lower 60-foots on the stock rear, for tons of passes. They are MUCH easier on the rear than M6s. 1.5 or better is not even unheard of. If you can keep wheel hop away, the stock rear is usually good for a pretty long life behind an A4.

i was more or less referring to my buddys cars experience, stage 3 auto, 3600 stall, baby cam, 4.11's and slicks... launched it one time and snap went the 10 bolt but yes generally speaking the rear in an auto has a much longer life is you dont have a stupidly solid shift kit.
