Cam question
Having to rebuild my L92. Timing gear bolt slipped (single bolt style) and left me with a major repair bill. Original ls3 cam was trashed so I'm replacing it. My mechanic and his parts guy recommended comp cam. Not sure what it all means but (advertising 50) int 269/219 .607
Ex 277/212 .607 112LSA. What kind of gains or changes should I expect?

I didn't mention, but the only mods I have are CAI and longtube headers. Also A4 trans ,25-2800 stall and 3.42 rear. Any help would be appreciated.

The guys @ comp said that this cam was a bad choice because of some duration issues on the exhaust. They recommended
Comp Cams 249-54-453-11
Intake Valve Lift (in.)0.607Exhaust Valve Lift (in.)0.621Int. Duration @ .050 in. (Deg)219Exh. Duration @ .050 in. (Deg)235Int. Duration Advertised (Deg)269Exh. Duration Advertised (Deg)285Lifter TypeHydraulic RollerEngine Make/SizeChevy 364 LS2UsageStreet/StripRPM Range1500-6700
Anybody used this one?

some words of wisdom for you.
Keep the lift under .630, when you exceed that your stock rocker arms cant do their job properly anymore. Also with these cams id highly suggest you to get the comp trunion upgrade for your rocker arms. last thing you want is an engine full of puked out needle bearings
