im so damn confused...somebody help me please!
Ok i have a 99 6.0 and a 4l80 that came with it from the factory. The 6.0 is the extended/long crank with the flat flexplate. I need a stall for it, do i have to get one custom cinverter made, or can i order a 4l80 converter and it work? All this has got me flustered. From what i got.fron Chris at Circle D, hed have to make one custom for me. If i got a Stage 5 RevMax converter for a 4l80 is it gonna work on mine with it being the long crank 6.0? Im use to 350's and th350/400's so all this haa me hella confused. Are there differences in a verter for a 99-00 6.0/80e versus 01 and up 6.0/80e as to converter height?

A traditional 4L80 converter will work. The 278mm HP series we talked about would not work because it is a hybrid style and had the 4L60 LS bolt pattern. So the pilot would bottom out in the crank before it would hit the flexplate. But what you need is simply a normal 4L80 converter, not the hybrid version. It will have the shorter style pilot for your crank and the 11.5" 4L80 bolt pattern, which is the typical 4L80 setup. Be happy to build you one of our 4L80 Pro Series for you, just let me know.

Ahhhhhhh, ok haha. I got extremely confused by all that when we talked the other day. I never even knew about the little "99-00 problem" till you filled me in. I gotta save up a little more $, but after talking to you I can definately you know your 'verters and I'd be proud to run a Circle D. Do you offer different STR's for it and with my set up what would you suggest as far as stall speed and STR? .....4,000 Lbs, 226/236 .525/.525, 9.5:1 cr, 150 shot, appx 480fwhp and either 3.42's or 4.11's
