stock rails and injectors will fit, ls1 coolant crossover tube or steam pipe whatever you want to call it won't, you'll need to block off the rear ports and use the steam tube off a ls6 motor, but unless you plan on putting heads and cam a LS6 intake would do you just as good as the FAST, hell th LS6 intake will do good for most heads/cam packages,

I'd also consider a 3200-3600 stall TC.

stock coolant lines will fit ,if carefully bent down using a piece of soft wood and a plastic hammer.or get a ls6 coolant line for both the front and back.

Ok thanks sounds good.... Really the ls6 just as good, well I'm not gonna argue with that... The F A S T was gona be an extra 200 thought it might complement future mods well..... New to the game and I'm gona save and do the work myself...just got a 3 ton jack 19 1/4 highth and 4 jack stands 21 " gona do the motor mounts and trans mount at the same time.... Tail shaft is wet will further investigate when in under there..... Would like to have a set of stepped headers but what u gona do.....ls6 vs F A S T.... What about a ls2 intake will that bolt right up read that it was just as good as a ls6 and a lil cheaper.....

I agree. You will enjoy the TC more than the fast for the money. Get a LS6 intake and a quality TC.

I would suggest getting an LS6 intake if you dont have plans to put in a big cam.

IMHO...I would go with a LS6 intake, P&P the stock TB, and put the money towards a stall. (3600-4000 range)

A tune on an A4 car would be money well spent. Massaging the shift points TQ management are good for a S.O.T.P. improvement not to mention other spots like PE delay & AFR, timing etc..........
For $1200 -1500 you should be able to do an LS6 man. Stall & a mail tune. More bang for the buck many times over. You will then have supporting mods for a cam. Don't forget
motor mounts when you do the headers it's alot easier with the exhaust off.

Stock ls1 rails work on fast 78/90/92 intakes. Stock ls2 rails work on fast102. If you are gonna go to the trouble of swapping everything I'd go ahead and look at some larger injectors as well if future mods are going to take place. The 99-00 cars came with smaller 26.x# injectors. I normally recommend the Bosch 30lb (35.x#@ LS1 pressure) red pencil or 36lb (42.x#@ LS1 pressure) white pencil injectors for heads cam cars.

The stock injectors will be sufficient for bolt-on car with a fast90 but they will be in the upper 80's to low 90's duty cycle if its a healthy motor.

I appreciate the valuable info, and I am leaning toward the ls6 with the TC, however I am thinking the tork arm and a few things to beef up the drive train to support any future power or current..... Was going to do a poly mount kit for trans and motor..... Would like to tackle a lot of any crawl under the car work while I do the headers...... Thanks

I would pass on the poly trans mount, with the torque arm up there too it will be a vibrating bitch. But the poly mounts on the engine are a must after LTs and an ORY
the exhust may beat back and forth on the bottom of the car. Lower control arms
with relocation brackets and subframe connectors is where I would start. Check these guys out $250 will buy alot...

http://www.foundersperformance.com/c...ro-F%252dbody/

Wait on the torque arm until you decide wether or not you are going to lower the car.
Adjustable arm and panhard bar can be needed to reset pinion angle and centering the axle after sport springs.
