Default SS spoiler on to 98 Z

Kinda had this question in the Appearance & Detailing forum figured i mite get a few more looks here. Will a 2000 SS spoiler work on a 98 Z without doing the relay and wire thing to keep the ABS light off and the cruise working. I know all i have to do is bolt on and plug in and things will fit. Its red and the car is black so its getting painted and i'm going to let it cure over winter before i install. Don't want to pop off the panel to get to the brake light connection in the cold so nothing snaps or cracks.Just asking ahead of time so i don't say sh-t lets do alittle wiring now.
