Default Finally...Pics of my 68 C10/Ls1 build

Thought I'd finally post pics of my old 68 C10 I've been working on. I bought this truck as a roller a couple years ago. I was really looking for a 49-54 Chevrolet truck, but ran across this on Craigslist and couldn't pass it up. This truck has the original rockers, floor pans and cab corners. Besides a dime size hole in the drivers side floor pan and under the battery box, this truck is PERFECT! The truck also had a Southern Air A/C setup on it. Which eventually I plan to hook up. Anyway, I've always wanted air ride, so i finally bit the bullet. Nothing fancy...just something i can air out when parked and not ride like a horse and buggy. I bought a Porterbuilt trailing arm cross member, adjustable track bar, 2" drop blocks, shock mounts and C notches. I'm also running a set of Boss 338 20x8.5 front and 20x10 on the rear. Anyway, enjoy the pics! any questions, please ask.

These are when I brought it home

Sweet build man, I'm looking to do the same thing to my '71 GMC in the near future. What transmission are you running? How about wiring harness, fuel system, and gauges?

Nice work, you have a sharp looking truck.

Jonce- I'm using the 4L60 out of the WS6 too. The wiring harness is just a self modified truck harness. I running an ext. mount Walbro 255 fuel pump. I used a 72 C10 fuel sending unit...just used the vent tube as my return. I'll get pics asap. Stock gauges.... The Speedo isnt hooked up. I need to get a Cable X box for it. Word of advise !!! drill/tap the passenger side head to accept the stock temp sending unit. you will thank me..lol

ironfish96- I used a 72 V-8 gas pedal and a cheap mr gasket throttle cable kit from Autozone.
