Default 3rd gen 1LE?

is there any way to ID one to see if its legit?

I know it would be a/c delete,manual windows,locks etc.
Didnt they have bigger brakes too?
whats all the option codes that would differentiate this?

i think 1le should have bigger brakes, bigger sway bars, dual cats, oil cooler, aluminum d/s. I think they did not have fog lamps either. not sure if that was different between the few years they made them

generally if someone has one....they know it....there really weren't enough of them to be too common.

1LE on the SPID for sure. Make sure the VIN on the SPID matches the car too. Easy to swap out a console.

The easy to spot items are the 12" front brake rotors with PBR calipers, no A/C, no T-tops, no fog lights, manual windows, dual cats and the aluminum driveshaft. The other items are tough to eyeball. Higher durometer rubber bushings, etc...

It could be a 305 or a 350. From what I remember the 305 could only be had with the 5-speed in the 1LE. Was also told by the dealer no T-tops with a 350 in 1991 but have since owned said non-existent animal with the options on the SPID so who knows.
