Default Time needed to install cam?

again...probably a dumb question. my buddy has ordered the A.I cam kit. i know i can usually do a cam swap on a gen1 in about 5-6 hours. mainly cause i take my time. but, thats a pretty straight forward and simple deal. no electronics to mess with.
He wants to do it during a week day. told him it was a bad idea. said that we should do it on Friday and have the whole weekend to deal with any unexpected problems. plus, usually nobody has any real place they NEED to go on the weekends. i cant convince him to go with my idea and is SURE its still a good idea to do it during the weekday.

please list yalls thoughts and facts so i can show this to him.

mind you,at the same time im doing the cam swap,im also installing headers and modding the current exhaust to bolt up. he also wants me to put the 4.10's in. im doin all this for free. just seems more logical to have 3 days vs one after noon.

My car is my Hobby so I'm not about setting speed records. I would budget one weekend for the headers and another for the cam and valvetrain. That's assuming no problems.

A full weekend at the minimum if you've never done it before.

I spent 3 hours on gears today. Would of had it done in another hour if I didn't run into problems. This was taking my time. I would recommend a weekend for the cam swap
