Need Intercooler capable of supporting 1,500hp
Looking to make in the ballpark of 1,300whp in my GN so I'm gonna' need a pretty stout intercooler. We're not quite sure what's going where, how everything will be routed, and how much room we'll really have. Thus, we're looking more towards getting a core and fabbing the rest ourselves.
Can somebody point me in the direction of finding a core capable of the power levels we plan to make?
I've found Bell Intercoolers and they seem to make a pretty quality product, but they don't have any pricing information or what kind of power each can support on their website. I'll have to call them next week in between classes or during my lunch break. I've also found that Garret makes cores, but their site didn't show anything above 1,250hp. In all seriousness, that would probably be just fine, but I really don't want to have to refab any of the turbo stuff for a while. I want to finish it, enjoy it, and race it.
So can anyone recommend other companies that make these cores?

You need a core based on airflow and cooling ability, and you'll need to give the supplier some data in order for them to spec a suitable unit.
The more info you can give them, the better
But as far as intercoolers go, buy a quality core and buy the biggest one that will fit your vehicle. And ensure end tanks are designed to promote smooth even flow throughout the entire core.
Few cars will physically have room for a core that is too big.

Nope. Just a single GT47 on a 370 or 390 (can't decide which yet).
I think we've decided to just to an Air-to-Air unit.
I'm going to do that this week. At the time I made this post, they weren't open for me to do so.
I'm not entirely sure what kind of info they'll ask or if I'll know that info at the time, but I'll do my best. We're starting from scratch on this car so there's still some things we're not certain about. We discussed possibly V band-ing the turbo directly to the IC.
From the little research I've done, I've read that the most efficient IC's for a given setup are the shortest and thickest IC's you can fit. Supposedly there's less pressure drop off vs. having a taller, narrower IC.
I'll keep them in mind. Really just looking for a core to fab our own at the moment.

The problem is, a lot of companies who can, may just not list specific cores on the website, but then can still build anything you need.
Even if the engine is bolted solid into the car, I would still prefer to leave some ability for flex where hoses etc join. V-bands offer no such movement at all, and could leave to metal fractures on plumbing or the core itself.
