t-56 no power in 6th
I have a 98 Camaro SS and it has just developed a problem. I have normal throttle response in all gears except 6th. When I'm going down the highway in 6th and I give it a good amount of throttle it will stumble and buck like it's misfiring and gain very little speed. No I'm not lugging it. I've tested this problem all the way up to 90 mph. Now the tricky part is if I give it just very slight throttle it will gain speed steadily without any hesitations. I put new plugs and wires on in the last year but this problem just started in the last month. I'm lost.

Thats right, manuals don't slip or tie-up like autos do. If you had an engine flair....no drive, you might have a broken gear concern but an engine stumble is NOT rooted in the trans.

somehow with everything as stock and a non-working ls1 maf all my fueling was fine once headers, ls2 maf, tada the fires of hell appeared.

It's a 'load' problem, which is probably an issue with your tune. In 6th, at high throttle postions, you're probably hitting cells in your program that are off, and you're getting knock as a result most likley, which then kills timing and power.
I bet if you were to roll in 4th gear at 10-15 mph and try and acclerate, you'd see the same problems.
Fact is, 6th gear is simply for cruising. If you need to accelerate, drop to 5th.

Could easily be ignition related still, burned plug wire, bad plug. Have you pulled codes have you narrowed it down to a couple cylinders or is it showing up as a random missfire?
6th gear and high load certainly points towards something ignition related
