Looked like fun, but the Subaru is what surprised me. It looked quite strong after what can only be described as a poor launch(from what I could see).

Why surprised? Considering the Mustangs mods, if that LT1 had no mods done, it would be lucky to stay within a few car lengths on a great run. The Mustang should run easily in the very low 13's and the old LT1 shouldn't.

^^^^^^^^^a h/c/i lt should easily run bottom 12's or high 11's. If it's thought out mid to low 11's are doable. LT's can go 11's with just bolt-ons and some weight reduction, high 12's are easy for them. That lt should've won...but did'nt

It was pretty cold out last night (in the 40's) even on my slick's i wasnt hooking up to well, honestly i didnt think i did to bad considering he's awd and he told me that was the hardest the car has ever launched lol....

As for the camaro I was told it went 11.70 @ 117, couldnt tell ya if that's true or not, i pulled 3+ cars and was still pulling when i grabbed 4th....

Well it's pretty safe to say he didn't run that if you outran him with a gt40 headed Mustang. He's definitely not gonna run that with his car on the rev limit the whole time. Any times on your fox??

H/C Bolt on LT1's good for low 13's huh?? Thats funny, my full bolt on LT1 ran high 12s. Think you must have them confused with fox body's man lol

That's cold enough to make traction on the street kinda difficult.

As for the camaro I was told it went 11.70 @ 117, couldnt tell ya if that's true or not, i pulled 3+ cars and was still pulling when i grabbed 4th....
It is more than safe to say, if the car was running that well when you raced it, you'd have lost. I've seen some seriously quick N/A 306 powered Mustangs, but they didn't have GT40 heads of any sort and they were very light, not to mention the suspension mods, transmission replacement, etc.

Maybe read my post again. What's funny is your utter lack of focus!

It should be 100% clear that I was saying the Mustang should run low 13's easily... I mean, it's not like I beat around the bush when I said it. The part about the UNmodified LT1 might've caught your attention too, but apparently not.
