Default Website Warranties?

Are parts from "GM Parts Direct" or other similar sites warranted through GM? Example, clutch kit.

Lol I wish. They are not. In your case you are talking about installing a NON OEM clutch on your car IE the LS7 clutch was never OEM to an LS1 Trans Am. And they can always prove faulty installation.

"This does not include situations where a dealer has refused warranty based on the following examples but not limited to;
improper installation
installed on incorrect vehicle
out of warranty
aftermarket component found to cause part failure
not following GM service bulletin regarding special installation procedures"

And specifically
"Keep in mind parts that are installed on a vehicle that did not orginally come equipped with that part will not be covered under any GM warranty." This comes from GMParts directly
