Re: A new LQ4 block Depends. If you are using a rotating assembly out a LQ4, just buy the new pistons, rings and bearings to assemble the engine. But if the rotating assembly is out of an LS1 you would still need to buy new pistons, but the rest of the assembly would need to be balanced for the engine to work descently.
