Default 2 step Chime In.

Well I tried wiring my 2 step off the clutch switch. I tapped into the brown wire coming off the switch.

Nothing.

Is it the brown or yellow wire to tap off?
I can't get my test light to go off on either one when the clutch is depressed with the key on.

Also what wire coming off the box is the 2 step?

Orange?

EDIT: Orange is the wire I am looking for.
Just not getting 12v to it.

You will only see voltage at either wire on the clutch switch when the ignition switch is in the start position. (Cranking the starter) I wired in a DPST switch, with the switch in one direction the clutch switch works like it's supposed to, flip it the other way the clutch switch controls the 2 step. I also run this circuit through a switch that makes it only active in first gear so the 2 step doesn't activate when shifting.

Thanks for the reply. After looking at Lingenfelter, I am just going to use a relay and get the 12v key on from the driverside fuse box.
