oil pressure sending unit

Anyone have the TQ numbers for the elbow fittings and the sensor (97 back of intake)? Also, are you guys using any teflon on the fittings or sensor?

Tapered pipe fittings don't always have a torque value. You just tighten them enough so they don't leak. But, the book says the fittings get 106 in. lbs. Teflon tape is not usually oil resistant, so use some thread paste.

IIRC, my new sending unit had sealant already on the threads. I didn't use anything extra. Didn't torque it either, just snug.

i honestly i dont remember, i thinki might of dabbed a little black rtv on it just to be safe, not positive though, then i know i just wrenched it down real good.
