How much hp can dual bosch 044's handle with -08 feed.
I just got a decent deal on two bosch 044's, -08 feed line, and -06 return. Going to be running a sump on the tank and the pumps parralel. How much power will this handle. Ultimate goal is 1000 rwhp. But if this set up wont handle it its no big deal, it will last me for now. Motor is a turbo LQ4. -08 feed to Y block, -08 from Y block to rails, -08 from rails to FPR, then -06 FPR to tank.

They will be capable of flowing in the region of 500lph at most working pressures.
As to what power level that equates to, it will vary around the world. But actual flow will not vary.

found a comparison test between the 044, 255, and two others. So basically, leaving all the LPH numbers aside, the 044 kicks the 255's ***. And there are guys running dual 255's and making 1000, right? And the next question would be can a -08 feed line handle it or would -10 have to be used?

Two 044s will feed 1000rwhp easy... Especially if you have a Boost a pump on them. Though I'm not sure a single -8 feed line will feed 1000..
I use a LPE 225 pump in tank with the stock fuel line feeding a fuel log. Then I have a 044 external with a -8 line feeding the fuel log. From the log to the rails I have two -8 feed hoses (one to each rail). Finally a -6 return from the FPR to the tank.
I made 901 rwhp SAE on 93 oct/meth and I had PLENTY of fuel capacity... I could easily feed another 150-200rwhp with the pump setup I have.. Ofcourse this is a meth dependent system.
We had this exact same system on my buddy's C5, his made 1063rwhp with 93/meth.

Awesome info guys, thanks. So it sounds like I can keep the dual 044's, just need -10 line. Right? Tank sumped, -10 feed, dual 044's parallel, e85. 1000rwhp?
Or maybe tank sumped, -10 feed, then Y to the parallel 044's, then instead of running another Y and -10 feed run two -08's to each rail kind of like ajrothm did.

Given e85 requires some 30-40% more flow than regular gas, I don't see how a pair would ever support 1000hp. On normal fuel yes, e85, nope.
With BAP it would probably be ok though.

My understanding is you need a lot more fuel to make 1000 on e85 compared to 1000 on 91/93. I'm running a sumped cell with twin 8 feeds merging to a single 12 to an aeromotive belt drive pump. Haven't worked out past there yet..

They will do 1000 on gas all day long, but they are gonna be tapped the **** out on e85. Math says it's possible, but real world conditions and depending on AFR, base fuel pressure and how much boost you need are all going to play large roles in the actual capability.

Thanks again for the help guys. Well if it will get me 800 on e85 for now then thats fine, I'll worry about it later.
@ MillsMotorvation, I bought mine new off a friend. But other than that the best deal I have seen is on Amazon. $185 each and free shipping. Heres the link

why would you run -10 before the pump, and after the y block, but -8 from pump to y block. why not just keep it -10 all the way? Also, I'm running two 044s side by side. So I'm wondering if I should use a Y after the two pumps to run a single line up to a Y at the rails, or if i should run two lines out of both pumps.
