We've been 125mph through the 1/8th in stock shortblock ls with dual 044's in a mustang, not sure of rwhp on it.
Also I've made 850+ rwhp on 6an line(and 3/8 hard line on a few cars), I don't think 8an will be a problem at 1000rwhp, although everyone always says you need much bigger line than we've proven to work on several cars.
this is all on e85 of course

thanks skinnies.
just wondering if after the pumps, would it be better to run -08AN from both pumps to a Y, then a single -08 from Y to another Y at fuel rails, or would you run two -08AN lines from each pump straight to each fuel rail.

The guys using smaller fuel line usually run some pretty high base fuel pressures. Just make sure your pumps can keep up with the pressure and either of your options above should be fine.

Let me run this by you guys. What if I use both bungs in the sump for feed, instead of using one for return. I mean what about two -10's to each pump from sump, then two -08's from each pump to each rail. And because my 96 has feed and return, I'll have -08's from rails to FPR, then a Y out FPR, use the stock 3/8ths and 5/16's for return.
How well do you guys think that would work? Or is it just better for some reason to have both pumps pushing fuel through a single -08.

What was the pump setup like ?
People claim more than that for dual Walbro's, and a Walbro flows nowhere near what an 044 does.
Although I'm talking about pump fuel

why not add a third 044 for the $$ and have plenty of flow for your power goal on e85.
Don't over complicate it , a single -10 feed should be fine then Y to the rails and probably a -8 return.

hey guys, if one uses a dual pump like the Holley Dominator or say a couple/several pumps like the 044, can you just run a -6 return if you just run off the 1 pump most of the time? I figure the engine would be swallowing most of the fuel at WOT and not much would be going back through the return at that point, and same thing while only one pump is running.
