What did I break in my 4L80E?
Yesterday on a 2-3 shift at wot I lost all forward gears and reverse. It has all the same symptoms as the time I broke the input shaft on a 2-3 shift but didn't make the loud bang when it broke.It now has a 300m input shaft.
When we got the trans out today the input shaft spins easy like when I broke the stock one but its different. This time it doesn't feel broken like before. You can feel that the splines are stripped out.
My guess its not the shaft splines but the splines on what it slides in? BIG? What is this part?
The pan had nothing in it to worry about.

Yep and no.
Not yet, we're working on a billet OD planet but it's on the backburner, too busy to deal with a low volume part.
Put another one in it and check spline fit. Usually the live to 1200+ without issue but I just warranteed one broke like that a month or so ago.
