As soon as you mentioned CL that sends up the red flags. Now we need to know the history, owners, accidents, title problems, etc... It's cheap for a reason. Now any potential buyer has to really do his homework and not assume anything. Asking $17,000 means he will take even less. I haven't seen that price for a 4,000 miles 2001 Trans Am in a long time, unless there was an issue or two.

Is it just me...I think 17k OBO is actually quite reasonable honestly, mileage and all...
Nothing "rare" or unique about the car, other than that its obviously been sitting in a garage somewhere collecting dust for many years.

For those thinking the $17,000 OBO price is accurate, please let me explain that there are premiums involved with ultra low mileage 'stock' MINT condition one or two owner cars. They command prices way over book. That $17,000 OBO price is quite low. You don't find these sub 5,000 miles cars for sale under $20,000 very often. If you ever see one, be very careful as I stated above. Maybe this is a steal, and the owner needs money quick, but this isn't the 'norm'. I'm sure you all have perused the ebay ads and Autotrader. You won't find prices under $20,000 for F-bodies that fit the above criteria. Once they hit 10,000 miles the prices start coming down into the teens. I hope this explains things a bit.
