I was looking for some .010 under main bearing for a 427 project I am working on. I started looking for Clevite H bearings for this application and found Clevite only makes a P series in -.010 listed for the LS7. I looked in the GM Performance parts catalog and sure enough there is a specific bearing listed for the LS7, both thrust and all 4 others. So, I called the Clevite Tech line and talked to them about different part numbers. He pulled up the drawings and compared them but was not able to define any difference other than the top half shell had a different internal part number. All the specifications that were listed were identical. So I wondered if anyone had encountered this or have folks used the LS1 Clevite H series bearing at .010 under in an LS7 Block with success?

Seems GM changed all of the engines with forged cranks over to the coated bearings.
Does anyone know if the 89017808 thrust bearing is correct to use with the 19257825? These part numbers are LSA LS9, and LS7- I'm building a ls3 with the dry-sump forged crank and cannot get a number for the #3 bearing, it does use the 19257825 for 1,2,4,5.
