50 miles and 40 spark plugs later...HELP!
I have a 1999 trans am with a built ls6. It put 456hp to the wheels. But it just hasnt ever ran right. It has fouled 4 sets of plugs in 50 miles. I rarely drive the car simply because it just doesnt drive right. Every time i pull the plugs they are coated in fuel. Eveb if the car just sits for a week i will try to start it and it wont even spark to crank over. I was running 42 pound injectors and pulled them off this weekend yo see if the stock injectors would work. Now it runs out of fuel. I get too about 3000rpm and it just cuts out. whats going on guys? Bad injectors? Bad tune? Please help!!!

Sounds like a bad tune, those injectors should have no issues if tuned right. Also are you sure its the fuel that is fouling out the plugs? I found soon after I put an LS6 in mine the EVAP was actually dumping oil back into the intake and I had to eliminate that by simply connecting the valve covers on the back to each other so they have the same environment then put a filter where you fill the oil. Plug all the remaining on the intake and whatnot and that will keep oil from being recycled back into the intake. Might be something work looking at. There is a conversion thread somewhere on here that shows you what to do. If you have already done the conversion though it has to be the tune or a sticking injectors.

I never even thought about the evap thing. Ill def look into that. But it def smells like fuel on my plugs. Is their anyway to know for sure that my injectors are bad or not? Also the guy that tuned it had sooo much trouble. It took days to tune. I even had to tack it back too him afterbabweek because it would barely idle.

LoL, "its a bad tune" If your car just started doing this outta no where then its a sensor, O2s, map, MAF. If it always ran like this then the tuner doesn't seem to understand how to keep the car from running excessively rich

Ya he used wideband. Or atleast attempted too. So the chance of my injectors just stucking are pretty low? After he tunned it the last time it ran great. For like 20 miles then started to not keep an idle . Then fouled another set of plugs.

Have you done diagnosis to see if the injectors are hanging open (or leaking)...?
If they are hanging open, are they all doing this, or just one (is there are short to ground)...?
Have you checked rail pressure, is the rail pressure too high...?
Has the tune been edited for these injectors...?
Have you determined if misfires are occurring...?

It made 346 on the first dyno tune. Then we found out i had two injectors not working. Fixed tht issue and it made 456. Drove it about 20 miles home and its been **** ever since. Im talking to ed wright and hes thinking i may have a ground issue so im going to look into that.
