Holley dominator wiring
I searched here and didnt see an answer here...forgive me if I missed it. Im running a LQ4 motor. There is no plug for the alternator in my holley main harness. Is there a loose wire that hooks to the alternator. I didnt see anything in the holley wiring diagram either?

Negative, there is no connector on the harness as the ECU can not control the alternator.
You have two options, wire in a resistor and connect the alternator to a 12v keyed source.
or
Purchase a one wire alternator.

I cant remember exactly what resistor to run in line off the top of my head.
I just ordered a alternator and the Self Exciting Regulator Option Product ID: SEREG.
IMO using a resistor is a bandaid fix, yes it has worked for others and is cheaper but I personally don't like the idea.
