the 1/8 will work, you could just take it to redline in 2nd then shut her down.

Last thing you want to do is make a full hit if you have no idea where your tune up is. Normally when I start my process I make just enough of a hit to get something on the plug.

ive got it ok . but i want to really get the max i can out of it. so pretty much start with a light lil hit like 2nd gear run. and then go from there and make long hits as things get better?
i was picking up from 115-116 mph in the 1/4 to 129 on a 125 shot . i was sprayin in 3rd and 4th gear only cause i was on street tires and ramped it in over .5 secs . i didnt check the plugs any cause it was the end of the day and track was about to close. but i had looked at them before they were a lil rich . timing looked good tho.could probably pull 1 more degree out of it tho. but it was pretty close just want to max. its potential .

You're running a brand new plug when you're doing this right?
