How much boost with my mods to get 500-525rwhp?
Okay I bought a tms 346 forged shortblock and I'm going to swap everything else over from my ls1. So it's going to be a stock ci with LT's/ORY, Ls6 intake, with an ls6 cam and brian tooley dual springs, flt lvl 5 4l60e with circle d 3400 stall. I'm putting the stock 853 heads back on also.. So it's probably going to have around 350ish rwhp on motor. I'm wondering if my 4.5 pulley will get me in the 500rwhp range. That should put it around 9-10 lbs of boost I would think. Tell me what you think it will take boost wise. I really don't want to go over 525hp tell I upgrade from my racetronix/hotwire fuel pump.

I have a friend who does my tunning with efilive. I don't have any extra cash to start upgrading fuel. It actually says it's good to 600+ hp, but I'd rather play it safe. My tunner will know if my fuel is good. I don't want to go over 525hp for awhile now anyways. I'm sure I'll be plenty happy going from an engine that made 360rwhp before to 525 lol.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did TMS build the short block. What was included... What brands....what specs (piston, rods, crank, details). If you wouldn't mind, I'm kinda thinking I might get a shortblock this year.
Thanks,
Jason

boost is all relative to whats done to the motor. X amount of boost isnt going to get you X amount of HP. i think youll need a little more pulley than a 4.5. try a 4.38 or 4.25
if the car made 380rwhp, in a perfect world youd need to make 5#'s on that motor to make 510hp... 9-10lbs is going to be near the 600range. ....in a perfect world....but there are many factors that are going to alter how much boost you make.
