Default Need Opinions- keep current wheels or change

K, so I've been debating changing the wheels on my WS6, I'm currently running machine/black deep-dish C5's, 18x10.5 and 315/30-18 on all 4 corners:

Its almost time to purchase a new set of tires. I've been debating just selling the 18's and puttings some DRs/Radials on my ProStars (have MT drags and front runners on now), or keeping the welds as-is and switching to a set of these:

If I went to new 18's I'd probably run a smaller tire than I am now, probably a 275 setup. Or should I just say f' it and keep what I got and get new rubber lol. One day I love my wheels and one day I'm like "eh, I want something different"

What you've got actually looks pretty good. The other ones are nice, but look a lot like CCWs. I'm sick of both vette and CCW wheels on 4th gens lol. Add TT2s to the list and that's 95% of the wheels on this site.

I'd say if your in love with the Redlines buy those. If not and you want to stick with 18s then get the tires and figure out what wheels you really want. I can't decide myself. A lot of nice wheels look dumb on a 4th gen some how.

Ya I agree. In reality I'd love some Fikse FM5's but I'll never buy them, I just can't justify the price to myself. I could have the cash sitting in front of me and I'd want to buy a nice looking cheaper set so I could buy more parts for the car lol. I'd debated LM Replica style wheels as well.

oh damn, never seen those before. I kinda like the SL14:

I think I'm gonna stick with my 1st choices though. The more I stare at it tonight, the more I like the C5's on there lol. Just need to cough up 1400 for tires lol

I think I'm gonna just get some 295/35's all around on my current setup. Looked at it in the bay when I opened up this morning and she just sits so nice lol. Well she'll sit better when I get all this BMR crap off my floor and onto her but you know what I mean. I like the Snett idea though for in the future when I'm sure I'll change my mind haha. I'm like a damn woman.

Are you running any spacers or BFH the rears? I've got same wheels, but 9.5 fronts and just purchased these to go on em...275/35 & 295/35

There's a little BFH but no spacers, those will look sweet!

I'd keep the setup you have. The black gives it a great look.
