I got one off carquest today and it didn't wana go over crank, maybe I just got a bad flexplate

I guess I should of clarified. I have sold a few flexplates to guys with 4.8s and they did not say they did not fit. So I assumed no news is good news. But there also might be a different crank style. So my answer of yes might not be 100% right. Do you have the OE one you can take a pic and post it?

I bought the engine with no flexplate, I ordered a ptc converter that fits a factory ls1 flexplate so I figured that's what I would get is a 5.7 ls1 flexplate, and it's just barely off. I'm running a th400
