Question Steering wheel for SD project T/A

I am going to be buying a steering wheel for my T/A. I am doing a modern version of a super duty (my vision of one anyway)

I am torn on the wheel I should get at this point

Should I go with the round hole version or the slotted version. Both are 3 spoke.

the round hole is similar to what the T/As had.The slotted version looks a little better to me.

The pics are a little bigger than I had thought they were. Oh well, they show detail at this size.

I have been thinking about doing the same thing. I love the old TA steering wheels. Let us know what all is involved with the removal of the old, airbag issues and installing the new one.

The round hole design reminds me of the cheesy 80's....jacked up in the back, tires sticking out past the fenderwells, and the brake drums painted red.

I didn't think it was that bad.

The round hole 3 spoke has been used in alot of GM cars. Alot of 60's vettes had them from the factory.

It's not a bad design, that's just the first thing that came to mind when I saw it. Either one would look nice I sure.
