Default Why can I shift into reverse while moving forward?

I have noticed a couple times that I can shift from 4th to reverse with no reverse lockout stopping me. Both times I have caught it before letting the clutch out so no harm. And both times as soon as I stopped at a light and took off again it started working just fine again.

Is this an issue anyone has had before?

id check power/ground to the reverse lockout connector first,
then more than likely id say you've got a bad lockout solenoid.

I'm just hoping its not wire related because it doesn't happen every time I drive the car. And as far as I know when it does happen its only for the first few stops. I don't think it ever happens after I've already been driving a while.
