Default Upgraded subs that fit in stock location?

Both of the rear subs in the sail panels are blown and I'm looking for an upgraded replacement that will still fit in the stock location. I saw a diy mod a while back of some speakers that were deeper then own units and the guide showed you how to do some cutting and insulation removal to accept the speakers and provide more air. Those looked good if anybody knows what I'm talking about. So basically I favor sound quality more then volume but I would like to have the ability to crank the base up every once in a while to show off without blowing them again. Anyone have any recommendations? Car is a 2000 TA with factory monsoon.

www.keeaudio.com and select some CDT parts they are great speakers, just make sure you wire everything correctly and you'll be great.

I bought the stage 2 Kee Audio replacements (CDT Audio) and I'm greatly impressed. I did this about a month ago. Great person/place to deal with
