PCV - oil stripper?

PCV - oil stripper? Catch cans may include a wad of wireball to strip oil
from the air. Old stamped steel valve covers on my
SBCs, used to have a stamped steel baffle around the
PCV outlet. I was wondering whether anyone has tried
adding this sort of thing to the LSx valve covers, so
that the oil never leaves the engine (or, most of it)?
Like a Chore-Boy stainless scrubber kept in a cage
of some sort?
The fill cap might make a decent home for this, and
move the pickup to that point (highest point in the
system anyway, and a volume-flare there ought to
minimize PCV air velocity relative to drawing from a
small orifice right over the threashing valvegear).

I use one of the orifice style 'new' PCV valves which is hollow. Perfect place place for something as the very small orifice makes it impossible for a piece of media getting sucked into the engine. Only problem is no drain.
