Default how much you pay for crate ls3???

hellofrom croatia, europe.
I try to find lowest price for crate ls3 (maybe dropout with low miles) but no success. someone pay 5500$, someone 6300$. which is lowest price you seen or pay for this crate/dropout package?

Thats probably the cheapest you can find it. Some even go over $7,000.

You can build your own for a lower price.

I sold my LS3 that was cammed, ported/milled heads, arp bolts, trunion upgrade, etc... for $4k so I'm sure others are out there.

$6200.00( with tax included) crate engine depot in Chicago IL, came with a 2year 50,000mi warranty. Of course I voided the warranty with a cam swap

Superior Chevrolet 6135.00 shipped to my work, no tax. And I too voided my warranty with a cam swap, LOL. I feel like Im on cam swap anonimous.

Why not just buy the engine with the hot cam and not void the warranty?

Im not crazy about the lift #s on the hot cam. Why have stellar .600 flow on the LS3 head and stop at .525 ? I just like to match the cam to the heads flow characteristics .GM used the hot cam because it was laying around, not because it was speced for the application. The hot cam has been around a lot longer than the LS3 and I think it was a just a cheesy way to offer a different crate engine without any effort, IMO.

I sold a 10K mile L92 with freshly ported LS3 heads, LG cam, LS7 lifters/comp pushrods, LS3 intake/inj, no TB, no accessories, no oil pan for $6K

It took me forever to sell it.
