Pull some more horses with out swap? 2001 ss ls1 m6. I want to pull some where along the line of 400bhp , I already have the slp lid, long tube headers, offroad y pipe. I don't want to swap an lq ls2 or anything because I'm not on that budget line. Do you recommend ported heads, 243s? Forged internals? Pistons? Cam kit? Connecting rods i don't know. I'm new to ls1 and do it yourself stuff. Help me out bros

Yeah I was rooting for the 243s but the cam might also do the trick. I'm just not all that familiar with cams. I don't want a heavy cam just something that idles nicely
