Default LS6 cam question

Team:

I am planning on getting the 2002 LS6 cam for my 2002 WS6 and it is M6 too. I wan near stock sound and no tuning

Can someone provide their experience on this cam with an M6, if you have a dyno pls send to me or track result.

Also, did u have to increase rev limiter to use full potential of cam, if so, what limit did u raise it to?

Thanks,

Adnan K

Hi,

I've got the exact same questions as this guy. Someone tell us the answer, dammit <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> . I'm debating what cam to install, as my engine and tranny is sitting on the floor right now, and it would be the perfect time to do it. Whats the best bang for the buck? The 02 LS6, Hotcam or B1?

I was going to use an ls6 cam, its definately a good bang for the buck. I, however, do not want the stealth sound.. I don't even mind the car cutting off at redlights! I have the longer ls6 pushrods, and the ls6 cam for sale. They are in excellent condition. I'd let them go for cheap, but you'd still need the valvesprings. Which are on ebay for $50 right now. This cam has been known to make around 20rwhp-30rwhp more and feel and sound completely stock. One member gained over 30rwhp in this section with an a4. Msg dist0rtion_69@yahoo.com if your interested. If your looking for more power though, and loosing only a little stealthiness.. I'd go with the tr220!
