G5X2 cam with 5.3 heads? Will it fit? The heads are 5.3 TEA Stage 2's milled 10 thousands for 10.8:1 compression ratio. Would you guy's think the G5X2 cam would fit? It's a 232/240 .596/.609 112 which is a big *** cam. I'd love to run the cam but I think it would be too big for piston/valve clearance issues. Thanks everyone.

Re: G5X2 cam with 5.3 heads? Will it fit? I would think being milled at .010" you are getting pretty close to the borderline on PTV clearance with that cam. Just my $.02

Re: G5X2 cam with 5.3 heads? Will it fit? Pull the #1 intake valvespring off with the motor @ TDC. Send me an email on me how far the valve "drops" into the cylinder, before hitting the piston and I can tell you if it will fit.
