3.2 pulley/P1SC-1?
Just wondering how much boost some are getting with this combo? Procharger says its the smallest I can go, I am guessing it has to do with max RPM for this impeller? My rev limit is 6,500 but I never go above 6,000 and would rather not! Stock intake, cam and manifolds, Magnaflow catback. Thanks...

The 6 rib crank pulley has a 6.0" diameter. The 8 rib crank pulley has a 7.65" diameter. Bob

Don't take this as gospel, but a tech at Procharger said if I run a 3.4" on a 6-rib with a P1SC1, it should make 8-9psi (I've got longtube headers and a cat-back). So, with a 3.2", the boost will obviously be a little higher - especially with you having stock "flow" components.

Im about to run a 3.5" 6 rib pulley on a 01 WS6 with headers, aluminum intake, fuel system upgrades, and 228/236 Comp cam. I was advised this would probably put me at 8 lbs, but haven't done any WOT pulls yet.
They might have told you 3.2" is as small as you can because of belt slip; with a pulley as small as 3.2" you have less belt wrap which increases the likelihood of belt slip. 3.2 should give you an actual impeller speed of 48,469 at 6500 engine rpm. The max speed is 62K I believe.
So if I get 8 lbs with a 3.4 and my mods then you should get like 14lbs or more with a 3.2 and a stock motor(in the absolute absence of belt slip). Just my guess, could be wrong.

Well, I have talked to a couple techs at PC, one said 3.4 would not give 7 and the 3.2 would not give 9? And, to come close to these numbers its 6500 rpm for sure. I like my shifts at 5500, 6000 max, so I ordered a 3.0 pulley. I know there may be slip but maybe not as I will keep the revs lower and really would just like more in the midrange. I had to do the same with my S-truck before I got the boost where I wanted it. Hate having to run anything over the redline to make power!

I got to thinking about it, the boost levels that I am seeing here with the P-1SC-1 seem very low. Back in 2002 we put a D-1SC 6 rib kit on my '99 Z28. Stock engine with 110,000 miles on it, we put Hooker headers on it, no cats and a Hooker cat back. With a 4.00 blower pulley and the small 6.00 crank pulley it made 7 psi at 900ft elevation at 6200 rpm. The P-1SC-1 makes more boost with any given pulley than a P-1SC does, it just has me wondering what is going on. Bob
